It was 2019 when I was new to blogging I thought that just writing content and publishing it will drive traffic to my website but I was wrong.

If you want to create a Google Search Console account for the Blogger website you need to create a website in Blogger.
For creating a website in Blogger you need to do two things;
So coming back to the point how I will setup a Google Search Console account for Blogger website?
So let’s jump on the detailed step on How to setup Google Search Console for Blogger website;
Step 1: Go to your Blogger Dashboard -> Go to settings -> Find crawler and Indexing settings.
There Enable custom robot header Tags;
Then click on;
- Home Page Tags: Enable all, and noodp then click save,
- Archieve and Search page Tags: Enable noindex, and noodp then click save,
- Post and Page Tags: Enable all, and noodp then click save.
Step 2: Go to the Google Search Console website, and click on Start Now
Step 3: Now you will come to the Google Search Console setup page.
Add the URL of the website for which you want to create a Google Search Console account in the URL prefix section and click continue.
Make sure you choose the same google account through which you have created your Blogger website.
Step 4: Now Google Search Console will automatically verify the website ownership.
The automatic verification could only be possible if you connect the same google account on both of the platforms.
Step 5: Your account has been created now you need to create a sitemap for your website.
For this Go to the sitemap option in the left side menu.
Now in this ‘Add a new sitemap’ option you would get a blank area, type sitemap.xml, and click on Submit.
Once you click on submit you would see that the sitemap has been submitted and after a reload it will show you the success message instead of couldn’t fetch.
Step 6: Now it’s time to index the URL of your website.
Go to Overview and you can see an option inspect any URL click on it and paste your website’s URL and click enter of your Keyboard.
Now Google Search Console finds the data in Google Index.
Now Google Search Console will inform that URL is not on Google. So click on request indexing, your request will be submitted and Indexed.
Likewise, whenever you publish a post, copy the post’s URL and request indexing on Google just following this same step.
Congo! you have successfully created a Google Search Console account and now your website will appear on search results.
Finally, we have successfully created our Google Search Console account.
And now we can easily track our Organic search traffic that is coming from Google.
